Norfolk Unites PTLLS course - spring 09
We are pleased to announce details of a PTTLS course for Spring 09, organised by Norfolk Unites and funded by the LSC
A Preparation to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) course is being offered to members of Norfolk Unites, thanks to support from the LSC (see Partners section of this website). This qualification is the latest requirement for tutors delivering learning in the Lifelong Learning Sector - for more information please go to our PTLLS section. This course will be delivered by the University of Cambridge, Institute of Continuing Education. 100% attendance will be required to achieve certification.
We are able to offer this course on a subsidised rate - fees received from bookings will be fed back into Norfolk Unites, helping to sustain the co-ordinator post. Organisations holding the LSCs Qualified Provider Framework status or delivering learning on LSC, DWP, DoH, Probation, local authority or other government department contracts will receive priority. These organisations will also be able to claim 2 places per organisation. After this, any other organisation will be able to claim at least one place. Any spaces left over will be allocated as equitably as possible.
Place 1: £125 per individual
Place 2: £175 per individual
PLEASE NOTE! If demand exceeds supply, Norfolk Unites will organise another PTTLS course in the autumn (09). This will not be supported by funding, but by pooling demand into one course, organisations will be able to benefit from a reduced group rate (and receiving local, Third Sector specific training) than if they sourced a course separately.

Venue map: map - the venue (part of the large swimming pool) is on your left as you enter the university. A car park is situated just before this on the left - by getting your ticket validated as a user of the conference rooms at reception, there is no parking charge.
