Details:

Projects should be run by people directly affected by the issues they are dealing with and priority will be given to small, locally based groups or organisations in areas of disadvantage that have a clear understanding of the needs of their community. This can also include “Communities of Interest” which cover a wider geographical area.  While groups will be using a range of activities, 50% of the available funds to go to sports projects. £1,000 - £10,000 grants.

Details:

The fund will support charities that help into work young people, the long term unemployed and the difficult to employ through activities focused on education, self help, health and well being and local environmental issues.  The area of benefit for the fund will be determined by the Foundation each year.  Awards grants of up to £5,000.  See here for more information.

Details:

Suffolk County Council is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of support services within the community for children and young people with additional needs.  The service should enable disabled children and young people to be supported and cared for in their own homes or within a community setting, on a regular basis and in times of crisis. It should also, ensure there are just and fair processes for disabled children and young people, the service impacts on systems that discriminate, and ensures that young people play an active part in decisions that affect their own lives and develop self determination.  The potential maximum value during the maximum contract duration (three years plus an extension of two years) is £825,000 for all three lots (north, west, south).
