Skills for Life project
An opportunity to any VCS organisation delivering Skills for Life provision
Dear Colleagues
you may be aware that COVER, through the Working Together project, is facilitating work to increase VCS engagement in Skills for Life Provision following a feasibility study carried out in 2007. The resulting action plan sets out a number of ways in which this might be achieved. One of the actions proposes to pilot a local (county) based Skills for Life Development Worker who will work to develop a local network of provider and potential provider organisations and offer support around a range of SFL issues.
We are now looking for an organisation to “host” this piece of work for 6 months from the beginning of May 2008. The attached project brief outlines what we expect to be achieved by the delivering organisation. If you are a VCS organisation currently involved in Skills for Life provision with a member of staff in your employ who you feel would meet the attached criteria and you feel that you would be interested in carrying out this pilot I would be pleased to hear from you. Closing date for expressions of interest is 22nd April 2008.
Please also feel free to forward via your networks.
Please email me with your contact details and I will contact you to discuss your expression of interest further.
Regards
Nikki Bennett
