Blast off for Norfolk Unites!
After much time and effort, we are pleased to present the new, improved Norfolk Unites website!
One year ago, we started out on the journey to develop 'a Norfolk voluntary and community sector (now increasingly called 'the Third Sector') consortium' and Norfolk Unites has been the result. Now, thanks to the LSC continuing their support of this work, we have been able to further develop this website into a truely fit-for-purpose resource.
This Norfolk Unites website offers an innovative way for Norfolk Third Sector organisations to access learning and skills opportunities, such as finding out what current contracts are available (in our Funding section) or even advertising for partners on any contracts organisations may have been awarded. The Norfolk Unites Directory brings together the many and varied provision of Norfolk Third Sector learning and skills providers into one place. The Directory enables someone to search for a provider working in a specific location, delivering to specific service users or delivering a specific type of service, including any combination of those categories. This makes the search for the delivery of provision all the more easy. When opportunities come to us, we can also flag them up to those specific organisations who have registered themselves as working in those specialities/areas as that current opportunity. We hope that Norfolk Unites will help Norfolk Third Sector organisations to be on the radar and in the know of learning and skills opportunities, whilst also enabling contract holders of all sectors one port of call to find out where those providers are.
By also bringing together all relevant and useful information related to learning and skills we have tried, and will continue to try, to ensure that all the information that could be useful for Norfolk Third Sector learning and skills providers is on their radar and easily accessible.
Please feel free to browse this site to see what useful information there may be for you.
