Norfolk Unites working for you - early successes
If you have vaguely heard of Norfolk Unites, read here to see how it really could benefit your organisation!
Looking for funding or looking for organisations to work with? Are there organisations that would want to work with you but don’t know you are there? The answer could be Norfolk Unites.
On the Norfolk Unites website we have brought together a range of contracts such as those held by the LSC (Learning and Skills Council) and Jobcentre Plus into one place – you can now search for all these on our ‘Funding’ page!
With our ‘Directory’, organisations are registered by What they do; Where and; Service Users – this means those groups can be found by people looking for the service they provide. Should relevant contracts come up, we also contact specific organisations registered with us, dependent on their registration details. A recent example (end June 09) is a Norwich City College led ESF application for ‘NEET in Norwich’, where 6 specific third sector organisations were included in the bid due thanks to Norfolk Unites. Let people and the funding find you by registering on the Directory!
In June 09 we had 333 unique users who accessed the Directory to search for information on organisations and 211 separate people looked up the Funding page. Ensure the search comes to you next time by registering with us - FREE for third sector organisations. Also on the website we have information on Train to Gain, Apprenticeships and much, much more – bringing all this information into one place for you. See our Library section for relevant resources and websites that could also be of use to you. See our Train to Gain section for news of how one of our members is now delivering Information, Advice and Guidance within Train to Gain through a local Work Based Learning consortium.
We are particularly keen for this information to be spread as wide as possible amongst the various networks that we all work with. Please feel free to forward this information onto anyone you feel could benefit from being aware of Norfolk Unites.
