New additions to Funding page

Please see our Funding page for added funds for: supporting e-learning; art in empty spaces; supporting talented artistic individuals and groups; young volunteers; evaluating (community) health projects; supporting deprived communities; assessing workforce development needs for organisations working with children; identifying the core training priorities of volunteers in the children’s workforce; leading diversity change training; research and evaluation services for Social Enterprise East of England.  A majority of these added opportunities come from the NCVO's free Funding Central service.  Please see our Funding section (under NCVO) for details of how you can sign up direct.

Free introduction to teaching literacy course

LSC procurement practices concerning the third sector

It has just been announced that a new team is being set up to ensure that the third sector are not disadvantaged in any way by current government procurement arrangements.  See here for more information.

Social Enterprise information

If you are interested in possibly becoming a social enterprise or want to find out more, see attached for an information booklet produced by SEEE (Social Enterprise East of England). Apprenticeships for Community Development approved

An apprenticeship/foundation modern apprenticeship and advanced apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship in Community Development has recently been approved for delivery in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.  See here for more information.

Standards Verification UK (SVUK) have developed some new materials aimed at Third Sector organisations and their teachers/trainers/tutors that work with LSC funded providers. See here for more information.
