LSIS flexiblity and innovation fund - IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Please read this email if you are thinking of submitting an application for the above fund
We were informed yesterday that the guidelines for the LSIS Flexibility and Innovation Fund are misleading. The fund is targetted at FE colleges etc., not FE learning (which is now defined as the wider adult and community learning arena). Upon further enquiry it now appears that to be a LEAD applying body you must be currently/recently delivering LSC funding that is liable to be OFSTED inspected. Delivery of LSC Community Grants, for example, is not sufficient. If you were thinking of putting in a bid and you, as a lead body, do not satisfy these requirements, you may need to identify a suitable organisation who does meet these eligibilty requirements to see if they would be prepared to be a lead body for your proposal, if it is that they weren't planning to put in a proposal themselves.
