FREE PTLLS course for third (voluntary and community sector) staff
A fantastic opportunity has just arisen for voluntary and community sector staff to access a fully funded PTLLS (Preparation to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) course. Starting in January, PLACES ARE LIMITED, so ACT QUICKLY to make sure you don't miss out! See here for details. Contact Poultec (the providers) if you have any questions. Many thanks to Andy Hodgson of The Norfolk Learning Partnership for alerting us to this. Please see our PTLLS etc. section for more information on PTLLS, which is to support people delivering learning in the lifelong learning sector.
TRANSFORM project co-ordinator
If you are interested in taking up a short term post (5 months) or secondment (or know anyone who might be) starting ASAP to co-ordinate an exciting project providing learning activities to those living in or accessing supported housing, then please see here and see the top news item. Closing deadline Friday 30th October.
New fund added
We have recently added information on Learning Champions into the Funding section: see under LSC - North Herts College (this is applicable for Norfolk organisations, North Herts College is merely the holders of this regional contract). There may even be scope for dovetailing this with any BIS - Learning Champions applications (closing date Weds 28th).
